Adil decides to leave MDP

S. Maradhoo MP Hassan Adil has made the decision to leave MDP.

Adil told Sun today that he had made the decision to leave MDP next week, because he is ‘not at all happy’ with the way the party is operated.

He also said that he is considering joining another party, but had not yet decided which one.

Sun has received information that Adil till join Jumhooree Party at a ceremony at Traders hotel next week.

Adil was elected to the Parliament on Gaumee Party’s ticket, but later changed to MDP.

Three MPs have left MDP since the resignation of former President Mohamed Nasheed.

They are Feydhoo MP Alhan Fahmy, Fuvahmulah MP Shifag Mufeed, Maafannu Hulhan’gu MP Abdullah Abdul Raheem.
