National airlines – Maldivian – celebrated the addition of a new destination to its expanding services on Wednesday.
The newest addition is the Chinese city of Changzhou.
Head of Administration of Island Aviation – which runs Maldivian – Ali Nishaath Hameed said that one trip from Changzhou would be made each week, using two Airbus airplanes.
Nishaath said that the trips were aimed at Chinese tourists visiting Maldives.
Maldivian now travels to seven destinations in China.
