Zeena appointed Executive Director of ARC

Zeena Zahid has been appointed Executive Director of non-government organization ARC (Advocating Rights for Children).

Zeena was appointed to the post after it was left vacant with resignation of Aminath Zenysha Shahid – who has now been appointed Minister of Gender and Family.

Zeena was appointed to the post during ARC Executive Committee meeting held last Thursday, with the vote of all members present.

She had previously been filling the post of Secretary General of ARC.

ARC was founded by the current Minister of Gender and Family Zenysha, who made history by becoming the youngest Cabinet minister appointed in the country.
