Two injured in collision after motorist without driving license crashed

Two people have been injured in a dangerous traffic collision between two motorcycles tonight in Malé City.

The collision took place around 10:27 p.m. tonight near the No. 4 Jetty.

Information Officer of the Police, Ismail Ali told Sun Media tonight that two people sustained a series of injuries and were taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Two men of the ages 26 and 28 were injured in the collision tonight.

Police said that both people sustained scrapes and bruises but no serious injuries.

The Police information officer said that the investigation so far revealed that one of the motorists did not have a driving license.
