Civil Service Commission joins Employees’ Scheme

Civil Service Commission (CSC) has joined “Employees’ Scheme” set up by Maldives Hajj Corporation to offer a more convenient method of paying for hajj and umrah pilgrimage.

Hajj Corporation said that the agreement between the corporation and CSC was signed on Sunday.

It was signed on behalf of Hajj Corporation by Managing Director Yameen Idhrees, and on behalf of CSC by its President, Dr. Ali Shameem.

“Employees’ Scheme” allows for individuals to to finance hajj and umrah pilgrimage through denominations made from their salary each month.

Both public and private sector companies can participate in the scheme.

CSC is the 22nd company to participate in it.
