Second batch of Hajj Corporation’s umrah pilgrims leave for Saudi Arabia

Second batch of Hajj Corporation’s pilgrims performing umrah during Ramadan left for Saudi Arabia on Friday.

Managing Director of Hajj Corporation, Yameen Idrees spoke to “Sun” on Saturday and said that 16 pilgrims were sent on umrah pilgrimage by the corporation during the first 10 days of

Ramadan, and that 100 more pilgrims were sent on Friday.

Yameen said that the first batch spent 10 days in Saudi Arabia, and that the second batch would spend more than 15 days there.

This is the first time for the Hajj Corporation to send pilgrims to Saudi Arabia during the first 10 days of Ramadan, the corporation had previously sent pilgrims only during the last 15 days of Ramadan.
