MRDC website hacked calling to free political prisoners

The website of the Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) has been hacked calling to free the former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb and all other political prisoners.

Deputy Managing Director of MRDC, Ahmed Mamadhooh told Sun Media that they are aware that the website has been hacked and is working to bring the website down temporarily.

The banner put on the website claims that the hack was by Anonymous and with “We do not Forgive. We do not Forget.” tag associated with the infamous hacktivist group. And pointed at the government and President Yameen saying that they have failed.

The menu bar of the website was smeared with vulgar insults to President Yameen.
