Ibrahim Ziyath (H. Aahama, Male’) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
The appointment was confirmed in a tweet sent out by President of Privatization Board, Mohamed Nizar on Tuesday.

Former CEO of MTCC, Ibrahim Razzaq Haleem was removed from the post and appointed Managing Director of Maldives Road Development Corporation.
Ibrahim Ziyath was previously a member of State Trading organization (STO) Board of Directors.
He was removed from the post in April.
Ibrahim Ziyath is brother of Auditor General Hassan Ziyath, and former Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
Other major changes brought to the top management of state-owned companies include the appointment of former MTCC Board member Sinaan Ali as CEO of State Electric Company (Stelco) on Monday.
