Former PG taken to IGMH for physiotherapy

Former Prosecutor General (PG), Muhuthaz Muhusin currently charged with terrorism for an illegal attempt to arrest President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has been taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and has done physiotherapy.

Information Officer of the Correctional Service, Ahmed Luguman told Sun Media that the former PG was taken to the hospital for the physio this afternoon and has now been brought back jail.

At his hearing at the Criminal Court, former PG Muhuthaz said that his health is weak and doctor’s documents would prove it. And he said that his medical treatment is no proceeding as ordered by the High Court.

Luguman said that the Correctional Service is managing the Ex-PG’s medical treatment.

The former PG has been charged with two other charges aside from terrorism. They are falsifying documents misuse of official documents.
