Maldivians affected in floods at Trivandrum

Some Maldivians has been affected in the floods at Trivandrum, India due to the rainstorms currently in the South Asia.

Consul of the Maldivian Consulate in Trivandrum, Ali Adam told Sun Media today that Maldivians in a low area of Trivandrum has been relocated on their request.

Consul Ali Adam said that they relocated ten Maldivians who were all living in one house for rent.

The official twitter of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tweeted that some areas of Trivandrum has been flooded due to heavy rain and asked any Maldivian that require assistance to call the Consulate Hotline: +919 8477 02554.
