Man arrested for self-harming

A man who injured himself has been arrested after being treated at the Hulhumalé Hospital.

Police Media Official told Sun Media that they arrested a 24-year-old local man following a report that came in around 4 p.m.

An official from the Hulhumalé Hospital told Sun Media that a man that was brought in with injuries to his hand was treated at the hospital. The official did not give any further details.

Self-harm is Haram (forbidden or proscribed by Islamic law).
