Gahaa Saleema passes away

Saleema Ahmed (Gahaa Saleema), who contributed enormously for the development of Mafannu district of Male’, passed away on Thursday morning.

Saleema passed away after being admitted at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for about 40 days.

Saleema’s contribution to development of Mafannu district was paramount, especially in social and political field.

Funeral prayer for Saleema will be held at Aasahara Mosque after Isha prayer on Thursday.

She is survived by four sons and four daughters.
