Police have started investigation into a series of Facebook account hackings and anti-Islamic sentiments being expressed being expressed through the hacked accounts.
Police media official confirmed that a number of such complaints have been sent to them. And that they were investigating the case.
Police did not say if they have made any arrests in the case yet.
The victims include a number of students from Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).
They have reported that the hacker(s) hacked their accounts and then chatted with their
Facebook friends and expressed anti-Islamic sentiments.

“My second account has also been hacked now. Anti-Islamic statuses are updated. And others are chatted with and anti-Islamic statements made during the chats,” said the student.
