Products of Mr. Bread and “Zeeshan” “Masmirus” banned

Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA) have banned the bakery products of Mr. Breadz and “Masmirus” (chili fish) from “Zeeshan” brand.

MFDA issued a press statement today saying that the products from the two brands are being sold illegally without the authorization of the relevant institutes.

And said that the places where their products are being produced are unhygienic below the standard to prepare food products.

“And so the use of these foods (products) could cause health issues and could cause the spread of a disease through food.” MFDA statement said.

The MFDA has ordered a ban on selling the products and ordered the products to be removed from shelves and advised the public not to use the products.
