Malé Water and Sewage Company (MWSC) have said that the cause of the water outage in a large portion of Malé City has not been resolved but water will be available in high pressure from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight.
Managing Director of MWSC, Ibrahim Fazul told Sun Media that it is likely that the water crisis would be resolved tonight. And for the trouble to the public, water will be available in high pressure tonight for two hours.
Earlier today the MWSC said that boreholes and distributors lost power after the electrical blackout yesterday and so it is possible that water is not available from the third floor and above.
The capital Malé has been complaining about the water loss. And with the high demand of mineral water, water is being brought to the capital from Hulhumalé and Vilimalé.
