700 meter jogging track to be built in the Tsunami Monument area

Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that the government has decided to develop a jogging track between Rasfannu Artificial Beach and the newly reopened Tsunami Monument.

The Minister said this at the reopening ceremony of the Tsunami Monument tonight.

Minister Dr. Muizzu said that the jogging track built in the area would be 700 meters long and the project would begin very soon.

“That track would become a modern jogging track used by professionals.” Minister Dr. Muizzu said.

He said that the track would be open to people of all ages.

While the newly reopened Tsunami Monument area has been closed to vehicles, the waste barges in the area have been relocated.
