Police: Nationality, identity unclear of dead body found beached

Police have said that they have not yet been unable to identify the dead body found beached on Sh. Dholhiyadhoo – an uninhabited island which is being developed into a resort.

One week after the body was discovered, police media official who spoke to “Sun” on Wednesday said that they were still waiting for the results of the analysis report, and that therefore did not yet know neither the identity nor the nationality of the corpse.

Police said that their initial assessment showed that the individual had been dead for quite some time.
