Inthif asked to make his plea during next hearing

Criminal Court has asked that Mohamed Inthif Rauf from H. Hilton make his plea regarding the charge of - possessing a dangerous weapon – made against him, during the next hearing of his trial.

Inthif’s defense attorney Husnu Suood on Sunday’s hearing repeated the statement he made during the first hearing that Inthif would make his plea once the defense received all the documents the prosecution submitted.

State prosecutor said that they wanted to present testimony from 16 witnesses from their side – and they wished the identity of all – except for two – to be kept anonymous.

Witness testimony of the two people whose identity is not being kept anonymous has been sent to Inthif. And the judge has now told Inthif to plead guilty or not guilty to the charge based on the two documents during the next hearing.

Inthif has said that he did not possess a pistol with real bullets, that he possessed a gun that shot beads.

He also said that he was an event organizer and that he would present documents to prove that during the next hearing.

Inthif has been charged in accordance with Article 3 (a) and Article 3 (c) of law that prohibits possession of dangerous weapons and sharp objects.

State prosecutor has said that Inthif, during police and military raid on Ma. Goldenbeam on October 30, 2015, dropped a weapon from the stairwell. And that the weapon, if shot from could cause harm according to a report compiled by military.
