MTCC donates 1500 water cases to Thinadhoo

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has donated 1500 cases if water to the people of Thinadhoo.

MTCC donated 1500 cases of 1.5 liter water bottles.

An official from MTCC said that the water was donated under the CSR of the company to provide clean water to the people of Thinadhoo following the mass blackout.

A number of companies have been providing aid to the people of the island after the island’s powerhouse was destroyed in a fire on Monday night. And so donations of candles and water among other things are being provided.

FENAKA Corporation has sent two generators via sea to the island to resolve the electricity blackout on the island.

The generators arrived on the island this morning and can be off loaded around sun down and it would be taken to the powerhouse sometime tonight and begin service in 12 hours according to FENAKA Corp.
