MP for Hanimaadhoo constituency signs to PPM

The MP for the Hanimaadhoo constituency, Hussain Shahudhee has signed the leading political party in the government coalition, PPM.

He signed to PPM at a government coalition (PPM/MDA) event and was welcomed into the party by the President of PPM and the former President of Maldives, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.

With MP Shahudhee signing to PPM, the number of PPM MPs at the parliament has now risen to 45.

There are ten MPs of Jumhooree Party at the parliament after two of their MPs, Mohamed Mubeen and MP for the South Thinadhoo constituency, Abdulla Mohamed signed to PPM last November.
