Judge Baaree and Judge Saeed applies for the High Court

Judge Abdul Baaree Yousuf and Judge Saeed Ibrahim has applied for the High Court following the announcement seeking Judges to the Maldivian High Court.

The Judicial Administration Commission (JAC) said that the applicants for the position are the Criminal Court Judge Abdul Baaree Yousuf, Judge Saeed Ibrahim and the Vaikaradhoo Magistrate, Mohamed Niyaz.

JAC said that they working through the procedure to appoint a judge among the applicants to the position. The last application period for the position expired on 14 January.
