Application opened for LGA CEO position

Application has been opened for the vacant post of Chief Executive Officer of Local Government Authority (LGA).

The job advertisement published by LGA on Monday said that those applying for the position needed to have at least a bachelor’s degree in governance or public sector, or a master’s degree in some other field.

Salary of LGA CEO is MVR 35,000 per month with MVR 2,000 as service allowance and MVR 5,000 as living allowance after probation.

Deadline for application is January 13 at 2:00 pm.

The position lays vacant after former CEO Ahmed Shukury handed in his resignation in November last year.
