MTCC begins efforts to improve parking zones

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has begun efforts to improve parking zones at Hulhumalé and Vilimalé Ferry Terminals in Malé.

New features include introduction of security personnel and security cameras.

CEO Ibrahim Abdul Razzag said that parking fees would be increased to facilitate the improvement efforts.

The change includes hikes in car parking fees from MVR 1,200 to MVR 2,500 per month, and motorcycle parking fees from MVR 200 to MVR 500 per month.

The temporary parking fee of MVR 5 per hour (up to three hours) will remain unchanged.
