Shahare: Happy with the work I have done here

Rajeev Shahare says he’s happy with the work he has done in Maldives as Indian High Commissioner as his term comes to an end.

Shahare posted pictures via Twitter and Facebook on Wednesday before leaving the country and said that relations between Maldives and India had strengthened during the two years and nine months he served as Indian High Commissioner.

“Farewell Maldives. It's was an honour & privilege to serve as India's High Commissioner in this stunning archipelago,” tweeted Shahare.

He also tweeted that he would cherish fond memories of Maldives.

Shahare is set to direct his diplomatic duties towards Denmark next.
