Public advised to avoid west coast beach construction area

Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has requested the public not to access the west coast beach area, which is under construction.

In an announcement today, the ministry said that heavy machinery is being used in the construction of the artificial beach and although Danger signboards have been put up, many people are still accessing the area during construction.

To ensure public safety, the ministry has declared it prohibited to enter this area until the work is completed.
