First Lady inaugurates children

First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has inaugurated a children’s event organised by Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) to mark National Day.

National Day is marked this year on 12 December and the event will be held at Republic Square today and tomorrow.

The event, aimed at encouraging patriotism and national spirit in children, kicked off at 4:30 p.m. today.
