Siyam: MDA would always strive for development

Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, leader of Maldives Development Alliance (MDA), has said that MDA would always make great efforts towards the country’s development.

Siyam made this remark while speaking at a ceremony held at Sun Travels on Thursday, for several individuals to join the party.

Those who signed MDA membership forms on Thursday include Shiuth Ibrahim and Mohamed Sabig.

Shiuth has served many years in the education sector and Sabig is a prominent activist on social media.

Leader of MDA Youth Wing Ahmed Reehan said that the party would move forward at “rocket speed” and would not hesitate in the face of obstacles.

He said that MDA was the only political party to have supported President Abdulla Yameen’s government with sincerity, selflessness, and resolve, since it was formed.

Reehan also assured MDA’s commitment to facilitating opportunities for youth, and invited youth to join the party.
