Police find drugs concealed inside cabbage

Police have discovered drugs concealed inside a cabbage on a boat that arrived in Gaafu Alifu Vilingili from Malé.

No arrests have been made yet.

Police said the drugs were found in an operation conducted by Gaafu Alifu Vilingili Police Station, Specialist Operation, and Police Intelligence, following a tip-off from a member of the public.

The drugs were found in two film canisters and a plastic bag inside a cabbage in a vegetable container on the boat.
