Closing "Lonuziyaaraikolhu" changes some roads to two ways

With the closing of "Lonuziyaaraikolhu" area for the Male'-Hulhule Bridge project, some of the roads on the area has been made into two way streets.

Regarding the changes to the traffic flow of the South East of the city, the Police website says that starting today, Moonlight Hingun is a two-way street. And that two-way traffic is also allowed up to Boduthakurufaanu Magu on Moonlight Hingun from the Hithigas Magu junction.

Police have created a parking are north of Adi Park with these changes.

"Lonuziyaaraikolhu" was closed for the construction of the China-Maldives Friendship Bridge on Tuesday. The area is set to be open after the USD 200 million project is completed in 2018. Hence, the area will remain closed for over two years.
