Alcohol found in speeding car going wrong way on one-way street

Police have stopped and searched a speeding car going the wrong way on a one-way street in Malé, and discovered a bottle of alcohol.

One male and two female foreign nationals and one Maldivian man have been arrested in relation to this incident.

Police began the chase near the tow yard, and stopped the car as it went against traffic from Buruzu Magu to Faashanakilege Magu.
