Four arrested in Maamendhoo for attacking an expat

Four people have been arrested for assaulting and injuring an expatriate working in G.A. Maamendhoo.

Police said that tonight they arrested two 18-year-olds and two under the age of 18 under a court order.

Police said that once the crime was reported last night, a team from the G.A. Villingili Police Station went to Maamendhoo and began the investigation with the Maamendhoo Police.

The expatriate that was injured in the attack last night was taken to the Villingili Hospital and is still undergoing treatment. Police said that his condition is not serious according to the Hospital.
