Former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor’s remand has been extended by 15 more days by the Criminal Court for a second time.

Adheeb, who was detained in suspicion of his involvement in the explosion on board the Presidential Launch, got he remand extended by 15 days for a second time when his original 15 days of remand had ended.

His remand was extended for a second time via video conference between the Criminal Court and Dhoonidhoo.

The former Vice President was arrested under a court order on October 24 at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) upon his return from China after a formal visit.

While the Police is investigation the former Vice President Adheeb for his involvement in the explosion on board the Presidential Launch, they are also investigation a possession of firearm and bribery of the Police Intelligence Officers against him.
