Ten beer cans and a vodka bottle found on the Maafushi beach

Ten beer cans and a vodka bottle have been found and seized by the Police from the Maafushi beach.

Police said today that the items were found on Thursday night around 9:45 p.m. Following a tip from the people of the island, the Maafushi Police Station found the items near a boat that was beached in the area of the skills and employment training center of the island.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made in the case.
