Raajje TV stops broadcast of news, live events

Raajje TV has temporarily stopped broadcast of news and live events.

CEO Hussain Fiyaz Moosa told Sun Media that the decision follows safety concerns for the TV station and its staff.

“We have stopped general broadcast which means we won’t bring news or cover live events,” Fiyaz said.

The channel will continue to show national songs and entertainment content.

Fiyaz said that the broadcast would resume as soon as the situation improves.
