Minister at President’s Office Mohamed Hussain Shareef has been asked not to report to work.
On Twitter today, Mohamed said he has decided to tender his resignation after being asked not to report to work on Sunday.

President’s Office declined to comment on the issue.
Mohamed reported to work today after returning from the Investment Forum in China last night.
Since the explosion on the presidential speedboat on 28 September 2015, Moosa Ali Jaleel has been dismissed as Minister of Defence, and several government company Board Members and government ministry Coordinators have been dismissed from their posts.
