Rehendhi building CCTV footage confiscated

Police have confiscated CCTV footage of residential building Rehendhi.

Sun Media understands the video footage was confiscated last week for the investigation of the blast on the presidential speedboat, Finifenmaa, last month.

Several senior government officials live in Rehendhi building.

Also, Vice President Ahmed Adeeb is known to hold meetings in an apartment in the building.

Adeeb has denied accusations against him following the boat blast.

President Abdulla Yameen has said he has “500 percent confidence” in Adeeb.

Adeeb told Sun Media last night that he had not been informed of dismissal from any government post.

The National Inquiry Commission has said that the blast was targeted at the President.
