Police seize items from Ziyath's residence

Police have entered a residence of high ranking Government officials tonight with a court order. Sources say that the Police entered an apartment on the second floor of the building. A resident in the building, the Managing Director of the MMPRC, Abdulla Ziyath told Sun Media tonight that the Police entered an apartment on the second floor of the building and it is not his apartment. And he said that he would have to check who lives there. Abdulla Ziyath said that residents of the 20 apartment building include the Youth Minister, Ahmed Zuhoor and the Prosecutor General, Muhthaaz Muhsin. Ziyath said that the Police did not enter an apartment belonging to either of them. He said that the Auditor General, Hassan Ziyath does not live in that building. The Police have confirmed that they entered H. Hiya Corner under a court order. “Suspicions and information related to the case cannot be shared at this time.” The Police Media Official said.
