Saeed: Efforts ongoing to solve challenges facing foreign investors

Minister of Economic Development Mohamed Saeed has said that the government is aware and working on finding solutions to the challenges facing foreign investors in the Maldives.

The minister made this remark while speaking at an event at Dharubaaruge last night, to launch the rebranding of Herethera Resort as Canareef Resort.

Saeed says the government is prepared to work closely with the private sector and foreign investors to facilitate an economic revolution.

He added that some of these challenges would be solved for businesses in Addu City following the development of Gan International Airport.

The new airport is also expected to boost tourism in the region.
