Home Ministry: Some people are trying to smear Umar

Home Ministry has said that a group of people are trying to smear the name of the Home Minister Umar Naseer because they cannot digest President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom’s trust in the Home Minister.

Media Coordinator of the Home Ministry, Thazmeel Abdul-Samad said that the first to stand to protect President Yamin’s Presidency is the Home Minister Umar Naseer.

Thazmeel said that the Home Minister is prepared for the work a group of people are doing to smear his name.

The Media Coordinator of the Home Ministry said that there are text messages being sent in the name of the Home Minister and Minister Umar Naseer sternly condemns it.

President Abdulla Yamin has assigned the Home Minister, Umar Naseer to head the National Inquiry Commission established to investigate the explosion on board the Presidential launch.
