Fire at Hulhumal

A fire broke out at the store of Maldives Gas at Hulhumalé last night.

Police Media Official told Sun Media today that the fire started on a floor met near the main door of the store past midnight last night and that there was no other damage in the fire.

“Nothing else was damaged. Police and the Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire very quickly.” The Police Media Official said.

The fire is now being investigated by the Police.

While a fire was set in Hulhumalé last night, a group of people have attempted to set fire at the Hulhumalé powerhouse in the past week.
