Boy who fell from fifth floor dies

The 11-year-old boy who fell from the fifth storey of a building in Malé earlier today, has died.

This has been confirmed by Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Police said that the incident took place at Dreams Mobile shop building, M. Kuredhivaruaage, on Madeejee Magu.

IGMH Spokesperson Zeenath Ali Habeeb said that the boy was in critical condition when he reached the hospital.

An eyewitness told Sun Online that the boy was unconscious and bleeding from the nose, and that he was taken to the hospital in a private car.
