Life Support Pharmacy reopens at IGMH with counter for special needs customers

The pharmacy of Life Support at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital has been reopened with counter for special needs customers.

Speaking to the press after the reopening, the Project Manager at Life Support Pharmacy, Abdulla Maumoon said that with new renovations at the pharmacy, customers at the Life Support can now receive services without feeling like they are at a pharmacy.

The pharmacy has been reopened with five service counters as opposed to the original three counters. Maumoon Abdulla said that increase in numbers would increase the service speed reducing the time waiting in queue.

Life Support has established a counter for special needs customers, elderly and patients in the emergency room.

“This change we made now is we made this place to five counters. And established procedure to service customers in minimal time. One of these counters is especially for customers needing emergency service.” Maumoon said.

The Life Support Pharmacy at IGMH went through renovations in the past year as well.
