President, First Lady depart for hajj pilgrimage

President Abdulla Yameen and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim have departed for the hajj pilgrimage.

They will travel on Emirates to Jeddah via Dubai, and are accompanied by Meedhoo MP Ahmed Siyam Mohamed.

President Yameen and First Lady Fathimath were seen off at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) at 11:00 a.m. today by Vice President Ahmed Adeeb, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr Mohamed Shainee, and Minister at President’s Office Mohamed Hussain Shareef.
