BML renews branch at INIA with self-service banking

BML has renewed their branch at the domestic terminal of the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) and expanded their services.

Most notable of the new changes to the branch is the self-service banking units. The four ATMs at the branch provide cheque deposits and money withdrawals. The branch now has an ATM designated for USD transactions with six counters for applications and other documents.

BML has also developed the currency exchange counters at the arrival and departure terminals. The company said that they would now provide 24-hour currency exchange service.

At a special ceremony held at INIA tonight, the new branch was opened by the CEO and Managing Director of BML, Mr. Andrew Healy. The branch at the airport now provides all the services available at the other BML branches across the country.

And so the applications for different services and other money related services would be provided at the bank. The CEO of the Bank, Mr. Healy said that the branch would make a step forward in the bank’s efforts to expand their services.

BML says that development of the branch would benefit tourists and other travellers. High ranking officials from the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) also took part in the ceremony tonight.
