Contrary to the year’s calendar, Saudi Arabia has decided that the first of the year’s Hajj would begin this Tuesday and the Eid al-Adha would be 24 September.
According to the Maldivian calendar, the first of Hajj would be this Monday and the Eid on 23 September.
The decision was made because the moon of the month was not seen tonight. Saudi decided that tomorrow is 30 Zulgaida on the Islamic Calendar making Tuesday the 1 of Hajj.
Saudi Officials say that the number of people who died following the collapse of a construction crane in Mecca has risen to 107 and the number of injured is at 238.
The repairs have begun at the holy mosque after the tragic crane incident on Friday.
