A week off for Eid holidays with 20 and 21 declared as public holidays

President’s Office has decided to give a full week off for the Eid holidays this year.

This year’s Hajj day falls on 22 September. Although it was originally declared that 22 – 26 would public holidays, the President’s Office has now declared that the full week would be off as the 20 and 21 have now been declared as public holidays.

Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali tweeted saying that the President has declared that Sunday 20 and Monday 21 would be public holidays to make things easier for employees.

And so from 20 – 26 September would be public holidays.
