Two weeks

Maldives Police Service has said that they would scrap any unclaimed vehicles that have been towed by the Police due to illegal parking in two weeks from today.

A statement from the Police today said that they order the owners of the towed vehicles to come to the tow yard in three days starting today.

“If the owners fail to claim their vehicles within this duration (three days), they would be fined as per regulation for every extra day.” The Police statement said.

According to the statement, the Police have towed 18 motorcycles and one bicycle.
