Foreign Ministry: There has been no news of a Maldivian injured in the Bangkok bombing

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that they are closely monitoring to see if any Maldivians were injured in the bombing in Bangkok today.

An official from the Ministry told Sun Media tonight that there has been no news so far of a Maldivian in Bangkok being injured in the explosion today.

“We are checking through the Maldives Honorary Consul in Thailand to see if any Maldivians were injured in any capacity in the bombing. And so far there has been no news like that. We would be updating as the information comes in.” The official from the Foreign Ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry has tweeted that Maldivian in Bangkok can contact number for the Maldives Honorary Consul Office through Mr. Norongoporn at 00668-1899-1566.
