A construction expert has informed Sun Online that the objects being washed ashore in different parts of the country may not be part of the missing airplane MH370, but rather “wall panels” used to assemble green houses.
Police have been alerted to the objects being washed ashore on Saturday and Sunday on beaches of Baa Atoll Fehendhoo, Baa Atoll Fulhaadhoo, Raa Atoll Meedhoo, Raa Atoll Alifushi and Haa Alif Atoll Uligam.
The objects found are 7 to 8 foot long and two feet wide. The heavy objects look to be made of a combination of cement and foam.
A source who studied property development told Sun Online that they were not parts of a plane, but rather wall panels used to assemble greenhouses.
“They are wall panels. They are made to fit together,” he said.
The objects washed ashore were thought to be parts of a plane after an object believed to be part of the wing of a plane was found washed ashore in Banyan Tree Resort.
Six months ago, the ship “Coral Craft” carrying items needed to build water bungalows capsized 30 miles south-west of Baa Atoll Goidhoo. It seems likely that the objects being washed ashore are from the ship.
