Bangladeshi expats ordered to renew their passports before November

The Bangladeshi High Commission in Maldives has order the Bangladeshi nationals living in Maldives to renew their passports before the month of November.

A statement from the High Commission says the passport renewal was ordered because the International Civil Aviation Authority has said that only machine readable passports (MRP) would be allowed to leave the country after November.

The statement says that only 200 passports per day can be managed due to it’s capacity. And so renewal of passports as soon as possible is advisable.

The Bangladeshi High Commission says that they would be open at 3 p.m. on Fridays as well.
